Alasdair Morrison

Alasdair Morrison from North Uist, represented the Western Isles in the Scottish Parliament between 1999 and 2007. In the Scottish Parliament he was a minister in the first executive led by the late Donald Dewar. For nine years prior to his career in politics, he worked for the BBC as radio and television journalist. He lives in the village of Garrabost on Lewis, and is married with two children. He is also a director of the construction and civil engineering company, the UBC Group Ltd, and of Harris Tweed Hebrides LLP.
