SEMI FINAL DRAW OF SFL ALBA CHALLENGE CUP ENDORSED BY MG ALBA CHIEF EXECUTIVE
The Scottish Football League’s Alba Challenge Cup Semi final draw was made at Hampden Park, Glasgow on Thursday 11th Sep.
Donald Campbell, Chief Executive of MG ALBA, the new title sponsor of the League Challenge Cup, was present on the day to take part in the draw that resulted in the following semi finals ties:
• Partick Thistle -v- Airdrie United
• Ross County -v- Morton
The above semi finals will be played on Sunday 12th October, 2008 when all aspire to make it to the final taking place on Sunday 16th November, 2008. The final will be televised on Scotland’s new BBC ALBA, Gaelic television channel, which goes live on Friday 19th September 2008.
