The feedback of the coverage of last year’s festival has been very positive and has helped to boost ticket sales for this year’s event. We are delighted to see the cameras back at Halkirk for this year which thanks to BBC ALBA, will again reach a wider audience.
“The Northern Nashville Festival committee aims to provide a mix of top quality performers from home and abroad every year and we are confident that we will have a great festival again this year for everyone who attends and all who see the festival on BBC ALBA.”
Alan Esslemont, Head of Content for BBC ALBA said: “We are delighted to be able to showcase country music through our coverage of this exciting festival and we are confident that we will have programmes which will both attract country music fans and add to our strong music schedule on BBC ALBA.”
