MG ALBA RESPONSE TO THE OFCOM COMMUNICATIONS MARKET REPORT SCOTLAND
Donald Campbell, Chief Executive of MG ALBA said: “MG ALBA welcomes the findings of the Ofcom report which reflects the contribution that MG ALBA and BBC ALBA makes to substantial programme making and broadcasting in Scotland.
“The statistics in the report also highlight the need for greater carriage opportunities in Scotland where there is the highest appetite for TV in the UK. This is consistent with MG ALBA and BBC’s view that the channel should be made available on Freeview.”
