BALLIEMORE CUP FINAL 2010 LIVE ON BBC ALBA
This season’s live coverage of shinty on BBC ALBA continues this Saturday, 17 July with coverage of the Balliemore Cup Final from An Aird, Fort William.
Kinlochshiel with take on Lochaber in the final which will be televised live on BBC ALBA, with a throw-up time scheduled for 4.00pm. BBC ALBA is available on Sky channel 168 and on Freesat channel 110.
Half time features will include a catch up with newly appointed head of the Camanchd Association, Torquil Macleod the ruling body’s Chief Operating Officer. We also hear from the only shinty team in the British Army, ‘The Scots’, plus shinty’s top goal scorer Ronald Ross offers up some more shinty skills.
Hugh Dan MacLennan, sports broadcaster and former shinty player, will be commentating on the match live for BBC ALBA. During the show, the BBC ALBA Spòrs team will also catch up with Scotland Shinty Manager Drew McNeil who will provide analysis throughout the match.
