BBC ALBA TO SCREEN EXCLUSIVE ‘AS-LIVE’ COVERAGE OF DUNDEE UNITED V RANGERS
Dundee United v Rangers
BBC ALBA – Tuesday 19 April at 10pm
Football fans across Scotland will next week get the chance to watch exclusive ‘as-live’ coverage of Dundee United v Rangers as BBC ALBA continues its coverage of the 2010/2011 SPL season.
Tuesday’s game at Tannadice Park will be broadcast at 10.00pm on BBC ALBA, which is available on Sky channel 168 and on Freesat channel 110. The games broadcast on BBC ALBA are matches that are not covered live by either Sky Sports or ESPN.
There has been one win apiece in the two games between Dundee United and Rangers this season, with the last match between the sides ending in a 3-2 victory for United at Ibrox at the start of this month.
Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic headed the Ibrox side ahead before David Robertson levelled for United on the stroke of half-time. Although a Steven Naismith strike restored Rangers advantage early in the second half, goals from Johnny Russell and David Goodwillie ensured the Tangerines took all three points.
BBC ALBA is providing a premier sports package in association with mneTV covering one Clydesdale Bank Premier League match every Saturday night over the next two seasons.
BBC ALBA is a partnership service between MG ALBA and BBC Scotland which will deliver high quality, distinctive home-produced programming.
