SHEEPDOG TRIALLING RETURNS ON BBC ALBA
Sheepdog trialling has returned to our screens with BBC ALBA’s third series of ‘Farpaisean Chon-chaorach’/Sheepdog Trials.

The highly popular ‘Farpaisean Chon-Chaorach’ series will provide exclusive coverage of sheepdog trials (and tribulations) from across the UK from Drymen on the Bonnie banks of Loch Lomond to the beautiful Hebrides and Perthshire as well as Antrim in Northern Ireland.
This series, presented once again by Donald Macsween and Catriona Macphee in their trademark cheeky but informative manner, covers more dogs and new features to keep viewers entertained over the next two months.

An insightful profile of some of the great handlers who have truly made their lasting mark on the world of sheepdog trialling will be featured including, Stuart Davidson a two times International Champion, Aled Owen a two times World Champion and Bobby Dalziel a three times International Champion.
Also each week the show takes a look at the action and characters behind the scenes and all the hard work that goes into staging a sheepdog trial.
The series concludes with highlights from the three days of competition at the International Championships in Antrim Northern Ireland that took place in September. This Spectacular annual event is where the best of the best from Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales battle it out to be crowned International Supreme Champion.
Farpaisean Chon-Chaorach – Sheepdog trials is produced for BBC ALBA by mneTV and will be broadcast on BBC ALBA on Tuesday evenings at 9pm until 8th March 2011.
