Running, walking and cycling were the order of the day last Saturday (15th May) as MG ALBA staff, with friends and colleagues from TeleG and STV, took part in a series of events to raise funds for Children in Need.

Some of the group undertook a circuit from the MG ALBA offices in Seaforth Road through the Castle Grounds before returning to Seaforth Road while a group of swimmers covered 80 lengths in Ionad Spòrs Leòdhais.

MG ALBA thanks all who took part and who raised money. The event was supported by Sandwick Management Systems and thanks also go to Stornoway Trust for their assistance. MG ALBA staff will be staging further events throughout 2011 with all monies raised being presented to Children in Need at the end of the year.
