Another Glasgow band, The Amazing Snakeheads fuse rockabilly, goth, blues and garage to make contemporary, menacing and raw rock ‘n’ roll music. RAPAL TV recorded the band in their original line up singing tracks from their debut album Amphetamine Ballads.

LAW, aka Lauren Holt, hails from Leicester and combines bittersweet, haunting soul singing with trip-hop musical arrangements. She has made Edinburgh her base and has collaborated with Young Fathers who scooped this year’s Scottish Album of the Year award. Young Fathers made their first UK TV appearance in their current form on RAPAL TV in 2013.

Singer songwriter Willie Campbell from Lewis, also known as the front man of the band The Open Day Rotation, performs several songs from his debut Gaelic album, Dalma. The album was recorded in collaboration with Gaelic singer Calum Martin and melds Gaelic and English lyrics with guitar driven rock. Willie recorded acoustic sessions for RAPAL TV armed with a guitar and a loop pedal.

Honeyblood are Glaswegian musicians Stina Tweeddale (vocals, guitar) and Shona McVicar (drums) Describing their sound as "crunchpop", they have been named in music reviews as one of four UK bands with the potential to revive rock music with a capital R. Their sound is a stripped-back guitar and drums combo and the duo recorded their first EP in a bathroom, distributing 50 copies on cassette. Honeyblood performed several tracks from their self-titled debut LP, released in July 2014 for RAPAL TV. Tracks featured in the series include Choker, Super Rat and Killer Bangs.

Dunfermline lads The Moon Kids made their festival debut at TITP this year. Describing their sound as fairground pop, they brought all the fun of the fair to the RAPAL TV studio with specially recorded tracks such as Carousel, Plastic Waterfalls and Luna Park.

Professa Fresh and Fly T were joined in the studio by guest singers, such as M.A.D. singing Worldwide Echo and Profisee guesting on I See. There is also the chance to enjoy mesmerising and ethereal sounds from Turtle and a beguiling performance from Laura St. Jude, who channels the glamour of 40s and 50s movie starlets with intoxicating and bold ballads. Laura St. Jude also features on The Bullfighter track with The Amazing Snakeheads.
